Our contributing writer Jen Haynes is currently working towards her Nutritional Science Diploma. After completing her diploma she plans on working for a health magazine writing articles or working in impoverished countries. In her spare time she makes hemp jewelry, is learning to crochet, and she also loves making her own skincare and researching natural beauty tips. She is an avid runner and does this on daily basis. Jen also loves any outdoor sports especially beach related sports; skimboarding, beach volleyball and beachbumming –this is definitely considered a sport!

In her down town apart from her studies Jen has a green thumb for Organic gardening. She is currently providing work for a landscaping company which made her become very aware of the importance of growing your own food and particularly majority of her work is helping her clients grow their own vegetable gardens. ” Just being able to eat wholesome food without all the chemicals is of utmost importance to our health!” is her mantra daily.
