What is your Personal philosophy/credo, vision, mission for this precious life?
I’m a nurturer by nature and a vegan at heart. I’ve forever had a passion for all living things and helping them find the best of happiness & health within themselves. I love to live life fully. That means I love to eat delicious plant-based food, spend time with family, connect with friends, run everyday, golf, enjoy nature, climb up mountains, canoe all afternoon, help homeless pets and travel. My loving husband and I live in the Seattle area. If we aren’t in the mountains hiking or biking somewhere we are on the golf course!
I’m a true believer that life should be carefree at heart meaning be who you are, love yourself, nurture yourself and always live for today. I’ve learned over the past several years that little failures we all experience in life are truly the fuel to an amazing future. We just have to look at them with courage. So many people are their own worst enemy creating pressure, control and eventually failure to drive who they think they are. A beautiful, exciting and hip life is right in front of us! Wake up. Be brave. Repeat®.
Summarize how people feel while there are around you?
People feel comfort and safety. They also feel accepted and confident to share what they are thinking & feel. They feel no judgment from me.
Day in a life of Kristin Wuhrman?
I wake up always refreshed and happy the day has arrived. I enjoy the first moment of morning, spending time with my husband and our cats. I then sit down at my desk and take care of urgent business matters before I head out for my daily run of 5-6 miles. I look forward to this, as it’s my therapy as well as my time to think and push myself. I return and start my day. If it’s a non-workday, my husband and I usually head out to the water to canoe, golf, head to the mountains, hike or practice yoga. We love being outdoors. I cook every day, multiple meals a day. I look forward to this time, as it was a time I enjoyed spending with my mother growing up. Shopping local farmers markets is my passion. Most days are structured but at the same time they are not. I live a carefree life and celebrate all of the wonderful that are easily taken for granted.
Who are you talking to, or the audience you wish to influence?
I am talking to those that love the outdoors, lead active lifestyles, athletes, care about their health, love being connected to the earth and live simply. I wish to influence those who are open to becoming more of their authentic self, realizing the opportunities and diving, tackling a goal and celebrate.
Let us discuss medium such as books, music or films:
I’m a fan of all types of music and do lean towards country as I grew up having small town origins. I also love local bands and artists that are just starting out. I’ve been a forever fan of the brand Patagonia. I believe in their philosophy, what they do for the environment, and feel very connected to what they do.
Social Activism? I am an animal rights activist and an ethical vegan. I support several non-profit around animal rights, rescues, and sanctuaries.
I’m also very much involved with the environment and saving our planet. I support causes and groups that will keep LOCAL farmers going strong. I’m not a fan at all and definitely not support of manufacture farming and big box stores.
I’m also very interested in educating our youth on what healthy really is. The marketing, social media and peer pressure is a constant battle for our youth.
Why Hemp? What is your motivation to be involved?
My goal with the 30-Day Hemp Challenge 2015 and my drive to be the Authority of Hemp Sport Nutrition is for everyone to start realizing the health potentials with eating hemp in their daily diet no matter what life they lead.
Your ONE MESSAGE to the world about Hemp, save our Planet, Farmers support, Hemp activism or otherwise pertaining to your message to the world?
